PANAJI: The ongoing Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls in Goa is progressing rapidly, with nearly 64.63% of enumeration forms distributed across the State as of 4 pm on November 6, 2025, according to the Office of the Chief Electoral Officer (CEO), Goa.
A total of 7,65,919 enumeration forms have been handed out so far, out of the 11,85,034 registered electors in the State. The exercise aims to ensure that no eligible voter is left out ahead of the next electoral roll update.
As part of the large-scale field operation, 1,725 Booth Level Officers (BLOs) are conducting house-to-house visits to distribute and assist electors in filling their forms. They are being supported by 919 volunteers, who are extending help to senior citizens, persons with disabilities, the ill and other vulnerable groups to ensure inclusivity in the revision process.
In addition, 1,690 Booth Level Agents (BLAs) appointed by various political parties are actively participating to support and monitor the SIR work on the ground.
Election officials said the revision drive is being carried out in close coordination between BLOs, supervisors, and local representatives to ensure accuracy and maximum voter coverage across Goa.
