PANAJI: Chief Minister Pramod Sawant today said that his government has been exploring the possibility of the installation of prepaid electricity meters in the state.
Chaired the meeting of the Chief Secretary and Secretaries of various departments.
“Held discussions on Digitization of more Govt services. Took stock of the delay issue in raising the electricity bills as the meter readers are requisitioned for Election and Disaster relief work. Advised to explore the possibility of installation of Prepaid meters,” said CM Sawant.
He further took stock of ongoing projects and issues raised by departments and gave directions to resolve them.
Sawant also congratulated the Drishti Lifesavers for rendering excellent service to the people and to the state of Goa.
“Safety and security is the priority for Goa, and I am happy that many stakeholders are contributing to this cause,” he added.
