PANAJI: Goa Pradesh Congress Committee (GPCC) President Girish Chodankar will be available on designated days each week to meet party functionaries and members of the public at the Congress offices in North and South Goa as part of an initiative to strengthen the party organisation and maintain direct interaction with people.
According to a statement issued by GPCC Chairman of the Media & Communication Department, Amarnath Panjikar, Chodankar will be present at the GPCC Headquarters in Panaji every Monday and Friday from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm to meet party workers, office-bearers and the general public.
He will also be available at the South Goa District Congress Committee (DCC) Office in Margao every Saturday from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm for interactions with party workers and citizens from South Goa.
On the remaining days of the week, the GPCC President will undertake field visits across various constituencies in Goa to engage with people, review local issues and strengthen the party’s grassroots organisation.
The statement further said that Chodankar will chair a weekly coordination meeting every Friday at 4:00 pm at the Congress headquarters with the Working Presidents and the Congress Legislature Party (CLP) Leader to review organisational matters and political developments.
Additionally, meetings with GPCC office-bearers, District Congress Committee Presidents and heads of frontal organisations will be held on the 1st and 15th of every month at the Congress headquarters to ensure regular organisational review, better coordination and effective implementation of party programmes across the state.
Panjikar said the structured schedule reflects the GPCC President’s commitment to accessibility, organisational discipline and strengthening the Congress Party at the grassroots while remaining closely connected with the aspirations and concerns of the people of Goa.
