PANAJI: Governor of Goa, Shri P.S. Sreedharan Pillai has extended his greeting to the people of Goa, especially to the Muslim Community on the auspicious occasion of Id-e-Milad.
Governor in his message stated that Id-e-Milad or Milad-un-Nabi commemorates the birthday of Prophet Muhammad. Prophet Muhammad gave the message of kindness, simplicity and service to humanity to the world. His message inspires each of us to move forward on the path of harmony and fraternity.
On this joyous occasion, Governor urged the people to rededicate themselves to promote the noble ideas preached by Prophet Muhammad and work for the prosperity of the society and promotion of peace and harmony in the country.
May the celebrations of Id-e-Milad this year bring renewed joy, love and peace to everyone, he added.
Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant has extended his warm greetings and best wishes to the people of Goa specially the Muslim brethren, on the occasion of Eid-E-Milad-Un-Nabi a celebration to commemorate the birth anniversary of Islamic Prophet Muhammad.
In his message, CM Sawant said, “This is an occasion for the people to dedicate themselves to the noble cause of humanity”.
CM further said, “Let us celebrate this day with joy and brotherhood”. May the festival fill our hearts with the spirit of happiness and open up the opportunities of success. On the occasion of Eid-E-Milad-Un-Nabi, I pray for wellbeing of all.
