MAPUSA: Harsh Mane won a triple crown while Shaheen C.K, Sakshi K and Rishi Pai Khot won double crowns each at the Yonex Sunrise State Badminton Ranking championships 2022, powered by Ripples. The concluding season-ending championship held under the aegis of the Goa Badminton Association and the Sports Authority of Goa concluded at Peddem with Aaryan Karpe (U11 Boys Singles), Avni Khyalia (U11 Girls Singles), Sagun Singh (U13 Girls Singles), Shane D Souza (U13 Boys Doubles), Aarya Metry & Dimple Revankar (U13 Girls Doubles), Aarohi Coutoncar (U15 Girls Singles), Minoshka Pereira & Ritika Chelluri (U15 Girls Doubles), Yash Desai & Ashmeet Parsekar (U17 Boys Doubles), and Janhavi Virnodkar & Synnovia D’ Souza (U17 Girls Doubles) being the other winners of the championships.
Harsh had an undisputed run this season in the Sub Junior events, securing the year-end number-one ranking with wins in U15 Boys singles and doubles and U17 Boys singles. Shaheen partnered with Harsh and Sakshi to win the U15 Boys doubles and U17 Mixed doubles titles, while Sakshi retained her U17 singles title to add to her mixed win. Rishi won the U13 Boys singles and doubles titles.
