PANAJI: Taleigao locals have raised their strong objection to errors in the land use plan and land use register 2023 of Taleigao drafted by the North Goa Planning and Development Authority.
The locals called on the member secretary of NGPDA on the issue.
They pointed out that the Land Use Plan and Land Use Registers have not been planned well as per the guidelines, and there are mass irregularities.
They said that the plan exposes the corruption, nepotism and violation of the law by the North Goa Planning and Development Authority and the agency TurboSketch, who was appointed as the consultant.
She stated that the Congress candidate for Taleigao, Tony Rodrigues, illegally acquired the land of the St. Inez Church when he was the president of the Confraria organization, an organization of the St. Inez Church that owns all the lands and the assets of the parish.
Adding she said, “Monseratte has also promised a Children’s Park and Jogger’s Park. But they have yet to materialize. Now, a big commercial construction is coming up in the vicinity of the proposed Jogger’s Park.
The Children Park that was proposed at the Taleigao football field with a free Wi-Fi zone is now filled with trash.
