Yuri Alemao along with CMC Chairperson, Staff and Councillors celebrated the Independence Day in Cuncolim. Later participed in Flag Hoisting by Cuncolim Block Congress Committee followed by Swantrata March. Speaking on the occasion he said Goa Needs Independence from Corrupt and Visionless Government, this Independence Day let’s pledge to root out the Corruption, Lawlessness, Unemployment and continuous price hike promoted by the Government during these pandamic times.
Independence from crime, corruption and rising prices of essentials is what Goan’s deserve on 75th Independence Day.
He said, This Independence Day calls for an awakening for the Youth. On this ocassion I had a wonderful interaction with the enterprising youth of Guirdolim. It was promising to witness their energy, ideas, discipline and motivation under the able guidance of Fr. James Torres.
We encourage More and More Young people to join in our partnership in an endeavor to build an inclusive, fair and sustainable State and Nation.
I assure you that I will do all that I can to ensure that youth are engaged, included, understood and are given #Independence to decide their own future as well as the future of Goa.
