PORVORIM: Minister Subhash Minister today, reacting to the Purple Fest Event tendering process, said that he does not deal with the tendering issue.
“I don’t deal with the tender issue. We are yet to issue any tender for the work. Just one tender is out so far, but that details I don’t have one,” said Phaldesai.
He further said that if some work order is issued without tender, action will be taken.
Congress and Goa Forward Party (GFP) had alleged that the tender for event management of Purple fest to be held in Panaji from Jan 6 to Jan 8 is rigged.
The date for the opening of the bids for the tender floated for selection of the Event Management agency is tomorrow, Jan 2.
However, the décor work has already been started by an event management company giving a clear indication that the agency for allocation of the tender has been pre-decided by the Social Welfare Dept, alleged the opposition.
