MARGAO: Goa has won one silver and five bronze medals on the third day of the West Zone Khelo India Women’s Wushu League, organised by the Indian Wushu Association, Goa Wushu Association and Sports Authority of India at Manohar Parrikar Indoor Stadium, Navelim, on Monday.
While Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra won gold medals, Gujarat won silver medals.
Sanda competitions took place till the semifinals in all categories. All the finals of Sanda will be held on Tuesday.
Honourable MLA Shri Ullas Tuenkar graced with his presence and honoured some athletes.
On Tuesday, the closing ceremony of the competition and prize distribution will be held at noon in which prize money of Rs 6 lakh thirty thousand will be distributed to the women players.
