CANACONA: Stating no one can stop his dedication to work for the benefit of the deserving, Quepem MLA distributed Atal Asara Yojana (AAY) sanction letters providing financial assistance for the repair of houses.
In a brief function organized in the Khola panchayat Hall, Quepem MLA Altone D’Costa in the presence of Panch Prabhakar Vaiz distributed AAY Sanction letters to 34 OBC beneficiaries providing financial assistance to the tune of Rs.1.5 lakhs to each of the beneficiaries to repair their houses in Khola village.
Speaking on the occasion, D’Costa informed though he belongs to an opposition party, he will never differentiate to provide the various schemes available at the government level, and that too without giving any consideration to caste, creed, and political affiliations to the least. ‘I will strive hard to solve not on difficulties but every problem my constituency people may have’.
On the occasion, Panch Member Prabhakar Vaij, Former Panch Members Fondu Velip, Manoj Pagi, Prasad Velip, Prashant Velip and other prominent residents of Khola were present on the platform along with the MLA. The Function is, however, skipped by Khola Sarpanch Ajay Pagui and his supporting/ruling panch panel, informed sources.
Prashant Velip and Ramesh Velip expressed their thoughts while the program was moderated by Vinayak Velip who also proposed the vote of thanks.
