VASCO: The team of Indigo Airlines is likely to arrive shortly in the state to check for the snag faced by the grounded aircraft that developed a technical glitch during take-off from Goa Airport on Tuesday afternoon.
Airport Director Dhananjay Rao speaking to reporters, said that the team would likely arrive in Goa in a day or two.
“The aircraft is grounded, and the team is arriving to check for the technical snag. The aircraft is presently at Goa Airport, and we are waiting for the team. The passengers of the Indigo aircraft which developed the snag were shifted to a different aircraft yesterday, and the incident did not hamper any other civil aircraft operations at Goa,” said Rao.
It may be recalled that the right engine of the Mumbai-bound Indigo 6E 6097 aircraft with 187 passengers had developed a technical snag on Tuesday afternoon while proceeding towards the runway from the parallel taxiway at Goa Airport.
