PANAJI: Chief Minister Pramod Sawant has appealed to people not to oppose the proposed project near the Katamgal Dada shrine, assuring that the government will not disturb even a small portion of the sacred site or its surrounding area.
Addressing concerns over the project, Sawant said there was no reason for opposition as the government was committed to protecting the shrine. “Even I believe in Katamgal Dada, and we will not disturb even a small part of the nearby Katamgal Dada area,” he said.
