PANJIM: On Goa’s 59th Liberation Day , the Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant urged opposition to “forget differences and work together for Goa”.
Sawant was addressing Liberation Day parade at Campal after he unflured the Tricolour.
Sawant said that the oppositions are questioning huge expenditure for the Liberation Day, but it is not one day event.
He urged all to ‘forget differences and work together for Goa.’
Further he also said that he is indebted to frontline COVID-19 warriors and the plasma donors.
Meanwhile, Seven Police officials were presented Chief Ministers Gold Medal for Meritorious Service on the occasion of Goa Liberation Day, 2020.
The seven officers are Gurudas N. Gawade, Dy. S.P., SDPO- Bicholim, Vijaynath A. Kavlekar, PI, Traffic Cell, Colva, Surendra S. Komarpant, PSI, SB-Margao, Subhash V. Naik, ASI, Konkan Raiway PSs, Wilson Freddy de Souza, ASI, MT, Panaji, Abina Norohna, LHA-3952, Calangute Ps and Dilip V. Sinari, ASI of Traffic Cell Ponda.
