PANAJI: Goa has temporarily halted smart meter installations on the instructions of the Chief Minister, said Sudin Dhavalikar.
Dhavalikar stated that the rollout would resume only after fresh discussions. He stressed the need to create public awareness about smart meter technology and its benefits.
He also clarified that issues related to smart meters and concerns over sanctioned load are two separate matters.
