PANAJI: The Electricity Department will resume smart meter installation next week, Executive Engineer Kashinath Shetye said.
Shetye stated that the department had informed the Human Rights Commission that no human rights violations were involved in the smart meter installation process.
He added that smart meters are part of a pan-India policy and stressed that Goa must embrace technological advancements.
