ANTHANE: In a significant late-night operation, police attached to the Goa Dodamarg Outpost seized a large consignment of liquor valued at approximately ₹1.8 lakh and arrested two persons after intercepting a vehicle near Amthane Dam on Sunday night.
According to police, the action was taken around 11.20 pm during routine patrolling in the area. Officers stopped a Hyundai Creta bearing Maharashtra registration number MH-12 VS 8001, which was travelling from Nanoda in Goa towards Sawantwadi via Amthane.
