CANACONA: A man from Margao was apprehended during a late-night narcotics raid at the Char Rasta underpass in Canacona.
According to police, the action was carried out between 3:16 am and 4:40 am on April 23 based on a complaint filed by PSI Ramdas Doifode of Canacona Police Station.
The accused, identified as Hazratali Salur, a resident of Davorlim, was caught red-handed in possession of a white crystalline substance suspected to be MDMA, weighing approximately 3.3 grams and valued at around ₹33,000.
Police said the accused was allegedly in possession of the contraband without any legal documents and had brought it with the intention of delivering it to prospective customers.
