PONDA: Marcaim BJP Block Committee today held a press briefing at Talavalim and criticised that despite Marcaim MGP MLA Sudin Dhavlikar being in BJP Government for several years, he failed to bring about development of Marcaim.
BJP Marcaim Block Vice President Sagar Mulvi said Sudin Dhavlikar failed to achieve the progress of Marcaim.
“He failed to upgrade Marcaim Health Centre. It was built in 1991, but there is no upgradation. He failed to bring new job-oriented industries capable of providing jobs to locals at Marcaim Industrial Estate,” Mulvi said. He said the BJP workers have submitted a memorandum to the Chief Minister to provide necessary facilities and machinery to Marcaim PHC.
“On our part. We forwarded our representations to Government for development works, but it is MLAs responsibility to conduct follow up development works,” he said.
Sudesh Bhingi said Dhavlikar had predicted in the ZP election about getting majority votes, but though MGP won a seat, the voting percentage was low.
Jayraj Naik said MGP ZP candidate got only around 50 per cent votes this shows people of Marcaim want Parivartan.
