ANJUNA: Anjuna Police have registered a theft case following a house break-in reported from Siolim in Bardez.
According to police, Crime No. 27/2026 under Section 305 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), 2023 was registered on April 7, 2026 at 1:10 pm based on a complaint filed by Akash Vidhyadhar Narvekar (23), resident of House No. 221, Bandirwado, Oxel, Siolim, Bardez.
The complainant reported that the incident occurred on April 5, 2026 between 3:00 am and 4:30 am, when an unknown person gained entry into his house by opening the slab door. The accused allegedly committed theft of a mobile phone, Redmi 10 Prime, valued at ₹15,000, which was kept in the hall.
Anjuna Police have registered the offence and taken up further investigation. The case is being investigated by HC 4885 Rupesh Shetgaonkar.
