PANAJI: Chief Minister Pramod Sawant today said that it is a moment of pride for Goans as the Goa Road Map declaration for G20 will be declared in the United Nations.

He further said that sustainable tourism was given stress in the G20 meeting. Also, discussions took place, and the meeting will go on for the next three days.
Sawant said that Mormugao Port Trust will work not just for import and export but also for tourism purposes.
“Mormugao Port Trust will work not just for import and export, but it will also be used for tourism purposes. I am of the opinion G20 will be an important aspect for Goa in the coming years,” he added.
Sawant also highlighted the appeal of Goa as a year-round tourist destination that attracts diverse travellers due to its wide range of tourism offerings.
Union Minister G Kishan Reddy said that Goa has a perfect confluence of sunshine, sand and sea, and everyone should experience tourism in this beautiful state of India. He said that the warm-hearted and fun-loving people of Goa enjoy life with loud music and delicious food.
The Union Minister further said that India’s long coastline is not only a major route to trade and increase its exports but also a huge opportunity to boost tourism in the country.
He said India’s long coastline also provides access to various ports, natural beaches and beautiful islands.
The Union Minister further said that doing Indian cruise tourism is to get away from life’s stress, find peace, and experience life in the natural environment.
The Indian cruise tourism sector offers something for every family member, he said, adding that cruise tourism is increasingly preferred by those looking for a multi-generational travel option.
