PANAJI:Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) Supremo Sharad Pawar today has said that his party is open for pre-poll alliance with Congress and like-minded parties to form credible alternative for the 2022 State elections.
Adressing the media, Pawar said that his party his party is open for pre-poll alliance with Congress and like-minded parties to form credible alternative for the 2022 State elections.
“As of now we have not taken any decsion but we are in final talks stage within party that we should go for pre-poll alliance with Congress and like-minded parties to form credible alternative for the 2022 State elections,”said Pawar
Pawar is on a private visit to the coastal state, during which he will also meet the NCP’s local leadership.
“We will work on provinding a stable and viable option for people of Goa other than the BJP, the party high command will take decsion on seat sharing,” he added
Senior party leader Prafulla Patel has been authorised to hold dialogues with other parties to form a front for the state Assembly elections, the NCP chief said.
“The discussion about the alliance and seat sharing amongst partners will happen at the national level,” he said, adding that discussions will begin six months before the election date
