Ponda— Bandora Sarpanch Ramchandra Naik was ousted by 9-0 votes as the no confidence motion came up for discussion today.
Interestingly, Ramchandra Naik is the supporter of the Marcaim MLA Sudin Dhavlikar and the other nine members also belong to Dhavalikar group.
Rajesh Naik, who according to sources would be the Sarpanch, said that Ramchandra Naik was taking unilateral decision and hence the Pancras voted for a change.
In the eleven member Bandora Panchayat seven members had given no confidence motion.
Nine members were present for the special meeting.
