MAPUSA: Mapusa police have arrested one Chimbel resident with ganja worth Rs 80,000 in the international market.
As per SDPO Mapusa based on reliable information team of Mapusa Police Station lead by LPSI Reecha Bhonsle along with HC Sushant Chopdekar, PC Prakash Polekar, Vinay Hiroji, Akshay Patil, Rajesh Kandolkar, Tukaram Kambli Anand Rathod conducted a narcotic raid at Behind New Bus Stand, Mapusa, Bardez, Goa and arrested one accused Person namely Mr. Shamshu Khan S/o Salii Kasim Khan, aged 26 years R/o Indiranagar, Chimbel, Tiswadi, Goa.
He has been placed under arrest under section 20(b)(ii)(A) of NDPS Act.
Narcotic Substance i.e. Ganja weighing 800 grams W/Rs. 80,000/- has been seized from custody of accused Mr. Khan
The raid was conducted under overall supervision of SP North Shri Shivendu Bhushan, IPS and SDPO, Mapusa Shri Jivba Dalvi and PI Somnath Mahajik. Further Investigation is in progress with PSI Viraj Korgaonkar
