MARGAO: In an unfortunate incident, the tanker which was transferring oxygen into the main tank of South Goa District Hospital (SDGH) developed leakage.
As per information, the oxygen tanker had come to fill the main oxygen tanks. However, at 2.15 pm, the worker and security noticed the leak and rushed the spot.
Immediately fire tenders were called in and the leak was contained. However, during the incident, one labour escaped with minor injury and was admitted to the SDGH hospital for treatment.
Meanwhile, South Goa Collector has order an inquiry into the incident while stating that the situation is under control.
“I have order detain inquiry of incident the situation is in control my team is working on still we have not received any technical report from fire department,” said South Goa Collector
When asked about the incident to Fire Department In-Charge Nitin Raikar, he said that their department has taken control of the leakage and the situation is out of danger.
“We are finding the reason of leakage,” he said
