PANAJI: Results for the 3 panchayat wards which went for bypolls yesterday were announced today.
St Estevam- Ward V- Hemant Shet won with 206 votes (57.54% vote share) , Parcem – Ward VII – Ajit Morajkar won with 178 votes(35.25% vote share) , Dramapur-Sirlim Ward II – Minguelina Carvalho won with 179 votes (49.31% vote share ).
Among them, 85.16 per cent voting was recorded in Ward 7 of Parse Panchayat in Pedne taluka. Ajit Sagun Morajkar has won this division. They received a total of 178 votes. Their percentage of votes is This division has open reservations.
In this ward, Amar Chandroji got 103 votes (20.40 per cent), Arjun Chandroji got 113 votes (22.38 per cent) and Pradeep Bhikaji Polji got 110 votes (21.78 per cent).
In Dharmapur-Shirli panchayat ward 2 in Sashti taluka, 60.91 per cent polling was recorded. Mingelina Carvalho has won from here. This division would also be open. Carvalho received 179 votes (49.31 percent). Maria Santana defeated Rodriguez Siqueira with 178 (49.04) votes. Carvalho won by just one vote.
