PORVORIM: Chief Minister Pramod Sawant said that the state government will resume physical classes for schools in a phased manner starting from Class X & Class XII before Diwali.
CM also said that classes for Std IX and XI will start in physical mode later.
“Government will resume physical classes for schools in phase manner starting from Class X & Class XII before Diwali; classes for Std Ix and XI also to start in physical mode later; proper SOP will be laid down,” said CM Sawant.
He further said that decision will only be taken after the Expert Committee meeting and their feedback to the state government,” said CM Sawant during the inauguration of NISHTA.
The decision will only be taken after consultation with all stakeholders, including teachers and doctors.
“Classes can begin before Diwali, or after that nothing is confirmed as of now,” he said.
He said that the decision to reopen schools will be taken only after getting approvals from all the stakeholders and putting necessary Standard Operating Procedures in place.
CM Sawant also chaired a meeting of the Departments implementing various schemes like Atal Asra and Schemes for OBC, Tribal Welfare Schemes, Housing Schemes under RDA, Social Welfare, Tribal Welfare etc.
He also reviewed the implementation of various schemes of these Departments. He also reviewed the impediments in implementing the Schemes and directed the officials to do away with the same.
The Chief Minister advised releasing the financial assistance for the scholarship on time.
