Anjuna: Within 48 hours of crime the Anjuna police have arrested the person who had barged into a house and raped a women at 1 am in the night.
Anjuna Police arrested Prathamesh Naik r/o Assagao for breaking into a house and raping a 22-year-old woman at Assagoa on Wednesday.
Police said the accused also involved in attempt to murder case.
Anjuna police said that a 22 year old lady from Assagao filed complaint that a unknown person years with strong build entered into her house around 1 am at night and further raped her.
Police said the lady also had two kids in the house.
Police had registered an offence under section 376, 506(ii) of IPC against unknown person.
