PAAJI: Porvorim police have filled chargesheet against seven accused in activist Vilas Methar murder case.
The chargesheet has named businessman Shailesh Shetty, builder Altaf Yargatti, 3 supari killers Pavan Badigar, Prashant Dabolkar, Iqbal Nanpuri, Santosh Pillay and Khayad Shaikh.
Police had confirmed the builder had put a ‘supari’ on Methar.
Methar used to file RTI applications and complaints against the builder pertaining to his construction project at Torda, which is said to be the motive behind the murder, according to police.
It can be recalled that Methar was set on fire by Torda creek three months back for filing complaint against the construction of builder at Torda.
