VASCO: Team of Vasco police has already left for Bihar after identifying the person connected with the sexual assault on a minor girl.
According to reliable sources from the police, a team of one police sub-inspector and two police constables have already left for Bihar state on Wednesday afternoon to search and arrest the person allegedly involved in the sexual assault case over a minor girl from Vasco.
It may be recalled that Vasco police registered an offense against an unknown person on Wednesday under section 376 of IPC and section 8 of the POCSO act. Now that the Vasco police have identified the person, they are on the lookout for this person.
Meanwhile, another incident of a minor 10-month-old child was kidnapped yesterday. Police have identified the location, and the team of one police sub-inspector, one head constable, and one police constable has left for Mumbai today in a private vehicle. The person behind this kidnapping has been identified, who had left for Mumbai along with the child on a train. The offense has been registered to the person for kidnapping, said the source.
