PONDA: Giving a helping hand to poor needy families has become the need of the hour and it is a matter of happiness that Vasanti Vithu Gavas Charitable Trust (VVGCT) is participating in such activities and Ponda Police would support them in launching initiative to provide free monthly ration quota to ten blind people in Ponda said Deputy Superintendent of Ponda ( DySP) Police Station Ashish Shirodkar.
The function was held today (Wednesday) at Ponda Police Station wherein(VVGCT). Ten blind person and their families will get free ration from (VVGCT)
The initiative was inaugurated by Deputy Superintendent of Police Ashish Shirodkar and Police Inspectors of Police Vijaykumar Chodankar.
At this time, trust members Adv of Vasanti Vithu Gavas , Shailesh Gavas, Neha Gavas and Kedar Gavas were present. Ashish Shirodkar appreciated the initiative of Vasanti Gavas Charitable Trust, saying that various trusts should maintain the sense of service through such social activities.
