Ponda Two days after the incident, Ponda Police arrested alleged accused Omkar Dananjay Kavlekar (28) from Varbhat Kavlem Bandora for assaulting and causing injuries to girl who refused to accept lift offered by him.
The incident took place on Thursday evening at 3 pm when girl was waiting for bus at Kapileshwarim Bus Stop.
The injured girl is undergoing treatment and the parents had filed complaint.
In this connection Case has been registered against accused for outraging modesty of woman and causing injury under section 354 and 323 of IPC
