PORVORIM: The investigation into the Porvorim shooting has taken a new turn, with prime suspect Satish Shinde, who is currently in custody, reportedly providing investigators with the names of two persons during questioning.
According to reliable sources in the Crime Branch, Shinde has allegedly named a person identified as Gopal as well as a political leader from South Goa during the course of the investigation.
Sources said the Crime Branch is likely to call both individuals for questioning as investigators work to verify the information provided by the accused and establish whether there is any connection with the shooting.
The alleged disclosures are being examined as part of the wider investigation, and the exact nature of the involvement, if any, of the two persons named by Shinde remains to be established.
