SIOLIM: A German person was allegedly assaulted at a Siolim restaurant by a Russian national, for which the Anjuna Police have filed a formal complaint.
Grigory Babuschkin, 53, a German national who currently resides in Mardi Wada, Morjim, Pernem, filed a complaint with the police, alleging that on December 12, the accused Kiril Kirilov entered a restaurant, assaulted him with a sharp object on his left hand, mistreated him, and wrongfully restrained him.
PSI Navneet Goltekar of the Anjuna Police Station is investigating the FIR, which was filed under BNS sections 352 (intentionally insulting someone to provoke a breach of peace), 118(1) (intentional infliction of harm on another person using dangerous tools or methods), and 126(2) (wrongful restraint).
