PANAJI: State Education Dept has issued a circular asking schools across Goa to hold cleanliness drive on Sunday, October 1, 2023 for at least one hour.
The event is to be organised in response to center’s appeal of holding cleanliness drive ‘swatchanjali’ for one hour on Oct 1 as tribute to Mahatma Gandhi.
Schools are expected to upload the details of the cleanliness events on the Citizens Portal- https://swachhatahiseva.com/ .Heads of all Govt, Govt. aided, unaided, Primary, secondary, higher secondary & specials schools have been asked to ensure that actual cleaning drive resulting in visible cleanliness is conducted.
