PANAJI: Department of Information Technology, Electronics & Communications has notified the Goa Telecom Infrastructure Policy, 2020 with an objective to provide seamless connectivity in the state of Goa and this department is now the Nodal department for issuing any permissions relating to setting up of Telecom Infrastructure & Right of Way (ROW) in the State of Goa.
All concern Department/TSP/ISP/Cable Operator are requested to obtain prior permission of IT Department before setting up of Telecom Infrastructure & Right Way (ROW) in the State of Goa.
Further, as per the clause 9.2 of Goa Telecom Infrastructure Policy 2020, it is informed that the Gati-Shakti portal for Government of Goa is live. Hence all the existing ISP/TSP/IP-1 that have installed infrastructure (Mobile tower/OFC/Cable TV operator) are requested to share existing setup details, existing infrastructure GIS details on the Gati-Shakti portal and also furnish the details as per Annexure-I.
