But even if we consider this pandemic as SHOLAY, here the Jai an Viru (CM and HM) instead of fighting Gabbar are fighting against themselves and as usual, the Thakur (Goa’s Janta, who elected them) is helpless as its hands have been cut and even struggling to breathe in absence of Oxygen.Jai and Viru here instead of saving Janta is blaming them for not following orders of Gabbar. This is story of Sholay in Goa and Thakur here himself is to be blamed for bringing Jai and Viru to Ramgarh.

Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant and Health Minister Vishwajit Rane put up a splendid performance to prove their critics wrong by suggesting that “Aal iz Well” between them.
The CM, in the post Cabinet press conference, also went ahead to suggest that all reports of a Cold War between him and the HM is only speculations.
“There is no infighting. We may have differences of opinion but when it comes to Goa, we are one,” CM said.
Well, that sounded like a lifted dialogue of the blockbuster super-hit movie SHOLAY wherein both Chief Minister and Health Minister (starring as Jai and Viru) have come to save Ramgarh (Goa) from the clutches of Gabbar Singh (Covid19).
Before the media, the Jai and Viru, the friend turned foes, are putting up a brave front acting as if nothing is happened but behind the scenes both are finding ways and means to overthrow each other.
Such is condition of Goa and with third wave of COVID anticipated soon, it is high time Goans (the Thakur) sends this Jai and Viru back to the prison, where they belong.
Goa cannot afford another month like May whee in 1467 lives were lost due to shortage of Oxygen, beds and staff.
The two should be and must be held responsible for deaths of innocent Goans.
The Health Minister Vishwajit Rane in particular has literally played with lives of Goans with several scams unearthed in his department.
While HM is responsible for deaths due Oxygen shortage, Goans cannot forgive the Chief Minister also as despite being head of State he allowed Rane to do what he did. CM seemed busy in saving his chair rather than people’s lives.
What is even more shameful is that the two don’t seem to have any feelings for people’s death as they are shrugging off responsibility saying people are coming late to hospitals.
If people are to fend for themselves, why do we need government? Why do we need health minister and the chief minister?
Despite, the COVID19 second wave on a decline, the positivity rate in Goa does not seem to decline in Goa, which is hovering around 15 p.c while deaths continue to be around 15-16 per day. Hence, the chief minister and the health minister must stop misguiding people and work together for saving lives of Goans.
