FATORDA: Goa Forward Party (GFP) President and Fatorda MLA Vijai Sardesai today said that Goa is left to rot and Goemkars thrown to the mercy of corrupt contractors and their party handlers.
Vijai was reacting to the Smart City works in the capital and the recent accident which took place.
“Leaders are going door to door to please their masters in Delhi, while Goa is left to rot and Goemkars are thrown to the mercy of corrupt contractors and their party handlers. This BJP nonsense must end, and the people of Goa must seize their chance on May 7th,” said Vijai.
He further questioned how many more Goans have to seriously injure themselves or even lose their lives for the Stupid Smart City run by this incompetent and callous government of Goa and BJP.
Speaking on Ponda issues, Vijai promised the people of Ponda that if the government does not equip the sub-district hospital with essential facilities like a Blood Bank, CT Scan and MRI by this August, he would move to the High Court.
“The useless market complex, the pathetic condition of the fish market and the frustrating traffic congestion all stand as monuments to the extreme inefficiency and callousness of the triple engine,” he added.
Vijai said that Ponda Municipality is BJP, the state govt is BJP, union govt is BJP, yet the people of Ponda are driven backwards by this collection of incompetents.
