PANAJI: On an emotional note, Sunburn EDM Festival Organiser today has shared an emotional message on his social media handle in which he wrote that it was his last Sunburn in Goa.
“My last Sunburn Goa. The Journey Ends… Feels good that I could help make this happen over the years. And a bit sad that I will never again be there.” wrote Singh on his social media handle.
Sunburn EDM is a popular electronic dance music festival, that began on December 28 at Vagator in North Goa and concluded on Saturday, December 30.
Considering the opposition by locals, last week Goa Tourism Department refused to grant permission to the ‘Sunburn Music Festival’ on December 31.
Sources said the promoters were upset due to the opposition and government regulations.
While there were roadblocks in acquiring permissions there were also issues after the event actually started.
“This had become a yearly affair and maybe this was the prime reason why promoters took the decision,” sources said.
Started in 2007 as a 3-day music festival in Goa, Sunburn has grown to become an aspirational lifestyle brand boasting an eclectic mix of music, entertainment, experiences and celebration that has seeded music tourism in India.
Over the past decade, Sunburn has brought together renowned International and Indian artists to entertain hundreds of thousands of dance music lovers across the country and overseas and positioned India as a prime
