VASCO: A three-year-old boy tragically lost his life after reportedly coming into contact with a live electric wire entangled with a metal shed near his residence at Mangoor Hill on Friday afternoon.
According to preliminary information, the child was playing near his home when he allegedly touched the metal shed that had come in contact with a live electric wire. He suffered a severe electric shock and collapsed on the spot.
Family members and local residents immediately rushed the boy to the Sub-District Hospital (SDH), Chicalim, for treatment. However, doctors declared him brought dead upon arrival.
Following the incident, Vasco Police registered an unnatural death case and initiated an investigation to ascertain the exact circumstances that led to the tragedy.
