PANAJI: Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant has urged the people of Goa to actively participate in Census 2027 under the campaign slogan ‘Our Census, Our Development’, stressing that public cooperation is essential to ensure accurate data for the state’s development.
Sawant announced that the self-enumeration process will be conducted from November 16 to November 30, followed by the regular enumeration exercise from December 1 to January 4.
Speaking on the occasion of the Run for Unity programme, the Chief Minister congratulated participants for taking part in spreading awareness about Census 2027.
He described self-enumeration as a simple process and appealed to all Goans to come forward and participate in the exercise.
Sawant emphasised that census data plays a crucial role in planning and implementing development initiatives, making public participation important for the successful completion of the exercise.
