PANAJI: Goa Legislative Assembly Speaker Ramesh Tawadkar announced that the film city project, as well as other pending issues, will now be revisited following the conclusion of the Lok Sabha elections.
Tawadkar confirmed that discussions on the film city project and other matters will resume now that the elections are over.
The proposal for the film city project is currently with the government, and further deliberations on its implementation are scheduled to take place.
The controversial film city project has faced opposition from Loliem villagers, despite the approval granted by Loliem Comunidade to allocate 250 acres of land for the project. Additionally, disqualification petitions filed by Congress leaders are under review, with Tawadkar emphasizing that decisions cannot be made hastily.
