CANACONA: The national convention of the tribal community will be held in December at Adarshgram in Amone-Poinguinim, announced Sameer Uravan, national president of the BJP’s tribal front. Rajya Sabha MP Sameer Uravan, who is in Goa, told when he visited the residential school of Balram Shikshan Sanstha at Amone Poinguinim.
He was accompanied by Goa Scheduled Castes and Tribes Commission chairman and former minister Ramesh Tawadkar, BJP’s Adivasi Morcha state president Prabhakar Gaonkar and others. At this time, he inspected the educational complex built at Adarshgram. Or Ministers from various states and office bearers and representatives of tribal fronts will be present on the convention occasion, he said.
After the BJP government under Narendra Modi came to power at the centre, the implementation of the welfare scheme for the development of the tribals started, he said. Ashram schools were started in the hilly areas of Jharkhand. That is what he said.
On this occasion, Ramesh Tawadkar welcomed the announcement of the National Convention. Tawadkar said that the Lokotsav of Adarsh Yuva Sangh is being held in December itself, and the national convention will be held by adding it.
