PANAJI: A theft case has been registered following an online complaint by a Hyderabad resident after valuables were stolen from his parked vehicle in Goa earlier this month.
According to police, the complainant, Buddha Eshwar, a resident of Injapur Village in Rangareddy district, Hyderabad, reported that the incident occurred on April 12 between 4:00 am and 4:30 am. He had parked his vehicle along with a friend and stepped away briefly to use a washroom.
Upon returning after about 20–25 minutes, he found the car door open. On checking the vehicle, he discovered that two mobile phones—a OnePlus Nord 6 and a Vivo Y75—along with his wallet had been stolen by an unknown person.
Police have registered an offence in the matter at 9:39 pm on April 22. Further investigation is being carried out by ASI Satish Sawant.
