CANACONA: Two elderly sisters were found dead inside their residence at Mokhard in Canacona, with police investigating the deaths as a suspected suicide.
The deceased have been identified as Rekha Kamat (78) and Medha Kamat (72). The unmarried sisters were reportedly living together at the house.
According to preliminary information, the sisters are believed to have left behind a note before their deaths.
Canacona Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident and examining the contents of the note.
