VASCO: An unidentified man, believed to be between 30 and 35 years of age, was found lying in an unresponsive state near Joggers Park at Chicalim in the early hours of Monday.
According to Vasco Police, information was received from police staff at around 12.31 am on August 3, 2026, that an unknown man was lying beside the road near Joggers Park.
Police rushed to the spot and found the man unconscious. A 108 ambulance was immediately called, and he was shifted to the Sub-District Hospital (SDH), Chicalim, for medical attention. However, the attending doctor declared him brought dead.
Police subsequently conducted an inquest panchanama over the body, which has been preserved at the South Goa District Hospital (SGDH), Margao, for medico-legal formalities and identification.
Further enquiry is being carried out by PSI Nikhil Dessai of Vasco Police Station.
