BAMBOLIM: Agacaim Police have registered an unnatural death case after an unidentified man, believed to be around 50 years old, was found lying near the Sai Baba Temple at GMC Bambolim and was subsequently brought dead to the casualty section.
According to police, the incident was reported on September 19, 2026, at around 4:49 pm after a wireless message was received from the casualty department of Goa Medical College (GMC), Bambolim.
The deceased, whose identity and residential address are currently unknown, was brought to the hospital as a medico-legal case (MLC No. 7578/2026).
Agacaim Police have registered UD No. 23/2026 under Section 194 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS).
Further investigation is underway. The inquiry is being conducted by PSI Shubham S. Korgaonkar of Agacaim Police Station.
