MARGAO:
In a concerning situation at the South Goa District Hospital, the Women’s Ward is currently facing a critical shortage of beds. With only 52 beds available, over 64 patients are being accommodated, leading to overcrowding and compromised care for vulnerable women, said Siddesh Bhagat
Chief Spokesperson, AAP Goa.
He said this alarming scenario highlights the urgent need for government intervention to ensure that every patient receives the initial services and comfort they deserve. The health and well-being of our community depend on prompt action to address this issue.
“We call upon the government to prioritize the allocation of additional resources and beds to the Women’s Ward, ensuring that patients receive the quality care they need without unnecessary strain on hospital facilities,” he said.
He added, “We stand together in advocating for the health and dignity of all patients and urge immediate action to rectify this pressing concern.”
