PANAJI: Party president and Fatorda MLA Vijai Sardesai has announced that the GFP is preparing to run for all 40 seats in the 2027 Assembly Elections. Sardesai plans to host Sunday conversations in every constituency.
Speaking on Sunday at “Vijai Samvad,” which took place at Pontemol, Curchorem, Sardesai stated that the program’s goal is for participants to “acquaint himself with the problems” that each constituency’s residents confront.
“How can I conduct the assembly elections if I don’t know their problems? I questioned the government on numerous occasions and brought up significant issues with the public on the Assembly floor, he added.
When bringing up the subject of the crumbling roads in the Curchorem constituency, Sardesai mentioned that local BJP MLA Nilesh Cabral had started the underground cabling project when serving as the minister of power.
“Now that the sewer pipeline construction is underway, the state of the roadways has gotten worse. It’s interesting that these potholes were filled in by officials prior to my Sunday Dialogue,” he remarked.
Among those who spoke were Balkrishna Hodarkar, a councilman from Curchorem, Pushkal Sawant, Sumit Naik, Pradip Kakodkar, and Prakash Raut Desai.
