PANAJI: With no alliance reached with Goa Forward Party, Congress will contest Fatorda with the objective of winning the seat and not merely to defeat Goa Forward chief Vijai Sardesai, Congress leader Girish Chodankar said.
Chodankar claimed Chief Minister Pramod Sawant would “100%” not allow former MLA Damodar Naik to contest from Fatorda. He also alleged that he had noticed a growing closeness between Sawant and Sardesai following the cash-for-jobs controversy.
