PANAJI: Former GPCC President and CWC Member Girish Chodankar Chodankar said that that the order amounted to “encouraging defections”.
“I am confident that the Supreme Court will ultimately decide on this matter and disqualify the eight defecting MLAs in Goa,” said Chodankar
The speaker held that the stand of Chodankar was factually and legally incorrect.
“After over two years of filing the petition, we received the order today. The speaker’s decision was anticipated. I will challenge the order either in high court or the Supreme Court.”
